Crocheting And YouTube

I've been kind of busy trying to upload some crochet videos to YouTube, if anybody's interested in seeing what I have so far, you can go to When I watch them, I can see where I want to change some things, but there's no way I am going back and redoing the ones that I have up so far. That's too much work.
Anyway, back to the picture above. This beret is turning out to be just like the other one, I can tell. Even though I went up on my crochet hook by about two sizes, I can tell, it's still going to be kind of "stiff". But I think I realize now what I have to do. I need to get some kind of yarn that's real thin, like sock yarn. And then use the same hook that I am using with this beret pictured above. I think it's a size "L". Anyway, that's what I think will help me, so my slouchy beret won't look and feel so stiff.

I hope they do help. I remember when I was first starting out, watching videos on YouTube was the biggest help to me. I hope mine can be the same way.

Thanks for popping by the blog---- great to see you. Your crochet makes me smile, I am grossly crochet impaired. I made GOALS for myself this summer and learning (once and for all) crochet is in the top 3. Have a great weekend! I'll be checking out your Tubes!

How CA is having lovely weather! I thought you were the Z Knits I knew here but you are a different blogger I see now. So happy to have met you over on my blog.

That's great you are doing Youtube videos! That's how I learned to do my first granny square. I would do it more if it didn't hurt my wrists.

Glad to meet you too.

The videos are alot harder than they look to put together. Also, I hope mine are a help to people.

I like granny squares, I made a purse with them once. I made make another granny square purse, but not for a while. But when I do, I would like to make mine bigger.

I see you've caught the crochet bug! Love the beret and it's so thoughtful of you to put your crochet videos on youtube ~ I have learned so many things from Youtube and for learning skills the internet is really a wonderful place.

Congratulations on your Etsy shop!

Yeah, I have learned a ton of stuff from the videos on YouTube. It's a great resource. So far, I just have these really simple kid size slippers up. I don't have all the videos up yet, but I am almost done.

And thanks about the Etsy shop. I appreciate it.
